Famous poster black cat drinking absinthe has been around the world and remains one of the most beautiful and representative posters of 1900. Founded by brothers Mourgue for Bourgeois famous distillery in Pontarlier, it uses the same codes as the famous painting by Charles Maire for french Absinthe Pernod Fils, namely: table, glass, carafe, bottle, and especially the newspaper Pontarlier.
